About Gary

He is the principal member in both Gary Lavallee Insurance Sevices and Harbourside Wealth Management* and has been helping clients protect and grow their assets since 1986. He firmly believes that a client’s goals, objectives and assets are all intertwined and shouldn’t be singled out and managed by various advisors without a team approach of working together to maximize the client’s results.

Understanding the individual pieces of retirement and how they all fit and work together, or against each other, are paramount to a successful retirement. That’s why he believes receiving education on your Medicare Insurance options, Social Security election options, income tax, investment, legacy, and business value planning requires a sophisticated approach, analysis, and comprehensive plan so all the moving parts work well together.

​ Generational Wealth Building requires a keen ear, a good listener, when a client is trying to explain their feelings and wishes in passing on wealth to their children, grandchildren and charitable interests. Gary understands the emotions involved and realizes that there are many paths a client can take in achieving their wishes. He will overlay a client’s wishes with what makes sense tax-wise, product-wise, and how these interactions work with their overall retirement plan to achieve a sound overall program.

​ When Gary is not helping his clients achieve their goals, he is a passionate salt-water fisherman, licensed coastguard-approved boat captain, and enjoys playing golf.
